Wawarsing Results - Wow

If you weren't at Wawarsing - you missed out on some damn near perfect conditions. It was humid and overcast with light to no wind. If one had a decent rifle and some good ammo, great scores were not only possible but were achieved. We did hustle along as there were thunder storms booming around that we were trying to beat. A storm did go though while we were having lunch. How good was it? We had 6 shooters for the Unlimited and in UL-2 I shot a 250-20X and got 3rd place. Third place!!!!!!!

A relatively new shooter had the day of his life. Congrats Ed Longo on your 4 250s in a row (750-60X Unlimited Agg.). You had a match you'll never forget my friend and it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. When he eventually gets his Eck sporter he will be dangerous.

Yeah, 1490 out of 1500 pts and he lost 9 points with the sporter. Losing only one point out of 1250 is just amazing shooting. When you have a gunsmith that is not afraid to put a great rifle in the hands of a new shooter - rimfire accuracy can really be advanced. ;)

Pete, I love it when a fellow Team Eck shooters does well. Even you. Ha! I'm glad everyone had a great time and enjoyed those Michigan Hot Dogs.

Bill, Bob, Pete, Joe, Tim, Gordon, Where do I stop!!!! Thank you All, so very much for the kind words, and again for all of your help. It is Most appreciated.
Well.........Today Camillus held true to its reputation. The conditions were less than ideal, cough,.cough,....And to say the least, the compitition was fierce! For me, just a reminder that I am still a rookie. Still some time on the porch for me.
Steve ran a great match, as always, and congrats to all of the winners, Good shooting!! Seeya all real soon. Ed.
