would going to the hog roast shoot be a good place to find and buy a used lv bench rifle in 6 mm ppc?
also I have a buget of about 1500 $.as far as barrel is concened if it shot in 1/3 moa at 100 yards that is fine for I will use it for chuck hunting aND REBARREL IN A YEAR OR TWO.

+1 for Bob White and the Shooter's Corner. Plenty of 6PPC L or H Varmint as well as other benchrest and varmint guns. Many of them he not only as a gunsmith can tell the condition very well, but many of them went out of his shop and he knows the shooters and how they shot. I enjoy stopping in at his shop just to talk and learn.
