I have using an ultrasonic bath to clean brass lately. Works well. I got to thinking tonight, why not use an ultrasonicator to clean a barrel. I have a small probe for one in my lab that could be fitted into a chamber plug. It is used to break cell membranes. It is adjustable for wattage, frequency, and pulse duration. I thinking of a way to safely remove tuff carbon fowling. Anyone heard of such a gizmo? Tim
