Scope mods
Got in touch with Cecil and he no longer does the mods. That aside I reached him in the hospital and he sounded very weak.

Does Jackie Schmidt do the Tucker mod? You might also ask Ackerman’s daughter. Up here that spring modification is also called the Swindelhurst conversion as Vic was doing those years ago.
For those who might look at this thread and scratch their collective heads; these conversions consist of a tube housing a coil spring being placed on and in the scope tube to counter the adjustments made by the elevation and windage knobs It gives you a more positive “click”
