trimer

Now, do we get the idea that there is no one "best" trimmer, or much of anything else, it depends on what each of us like?

Best of the Best

If you need to cut a lot off or simply a bunch of cases, Giraud.

If you need to take a smidgen off, call Jim Goody.

Bottom line...how well do you operate your trimmer. In the trimmers in which the case head is held in a collet the positioning of the case is dependant upon getting the case back to the stop in the collet. In the Wilson and others, the case is held in a "false" chamber and the case head stops against a dead stop behing the head. I use a Wilson but I use it quite often. Making sure the case is back against the stop is easier for me to see. I think any of them will trim just fine and if the operator is up to the job equally as well.

If I have a big bunch to do, I set up my Dillion in my press and prep several 1,000 at a time. If less than a couple of 100. I use the Wilson with all the tricked out stuff from Sinclair.

I don't know of an easier way to control the length than with the Wilson and I've never seen a squarer cut than with the Wilson.
