To Build a Rimfire BR Rifle : Question...

Have shot bencrest centerfire..looking at something different.
Are the custom gunsmiths who make the Centerfire rifles equally good at making BR Rimfire rifles or is that a subspecialty in the field?
If so, who are the most recommended (by reputation of course) Rimfire BR gunsmith specialists?

Centerfire smiths don't build BR 22's to any degree, it is a specialist field. I shoot CF as well and few of the same guys will venture into .22's. There are a few top flight guys you could easily find in 15 minutes worth of work with equment lists and match reports.
One of the the better ones , also in downstate N.Y. would be Gordon Eck. Where in N.Y. are you located?

You'd be hard pressed to do better than Gordon. Close is a bonus. More than one state, regional, national champion, world record breaking guns built. Plain talking, fair minded guy does not hurt. 845-985-0001.
