When one brags about being able to shoot year round because of Louisiana's balmy weather, he/she should not have to tolerate this. I think I will move to Wisconsin or Minnesota or some other place with decent weather.:D James

Sorry, can't find any symphy ............ been snowed in for a week! Just paid 3 guys $120 to shovel out my driveway as I am running out of food!

James

Here in Iowa we call that a light frost.

Right now we are 8" above where we usually are at the end of March.

the fellow I work for just returned from a 600 mile Gaspe Peninusla (Quebec) snowmobile trip. It started snowing one afternoon and overnight they had 30 inches of snow. Guess what? The streets were cleared and the school buses were runing the very next morning. Suck it up cream puff!!:)

glp

The only problem is that it is still snowing. We are expecting up to 4 inches:eek: What will we do?!!! As far as Dave Coots, and other folks in the frozen north are concerned.....all I can say is that even a goose has enough sense to fly south. :D Good shooting...James

I don't know... there are still a lot of geese and ducks around here.

Glenn,
Is that your reloading shed behind the patio furniture?

Best,

"Where are we going and why am I in this basket?"

Snow in Looserana? What snow?

Now you know why folks retire to the south. But the south now seems to be leaving also. Maybe Costa Rica. This is what Obama & friends call Global Warming.

Roy in Harvey, La. Brrrrr.

Weather

They no longer call it Global Warming--since they know that they have fudged the data they now call it Climate Change. This way they are correct no matter what happens.

AH! James that was hurtful! I have to clean that much snow of of my truck every morning just to go and get the newspaper. But I guess that is what makes us so rugged, EH!:D:D

No one ever accused me of having good sense;)

Dave....

While fishing in his favorite pond, this 72 year old man heard a voice saying, "Hey buddy, look at me."

Not seeing anyone, the man kept fishing. The voice again said, "Hey Buddy!"

Finally the man saw that the voice came from a frog sitting on a lilly pad. The frog said pick me up and give me a kiss and I will turn into a beautiful maiden.

The man picked up the frog and put him in his shirt pocket. After a great deal of protesting, the frog pleaded for the man to kiss him so he could become a fair maiden.

The man replied that at his age he prefered a talking frog to a fair maiden.

This may answer Francis' question about moving north. James

Mother nature is quite proficient-
When New Orleans/bayou & the Everglades turn into a glacier, then you'll have problems.
You can dress for the cold, not the heat!!!

Climate change is a money making scam, as is our immigration/border problem.

Snow

I hear D.C. is the place to be . The politicians using SNOW as a reason not to go to work (as if they need another 1 ). A little over 4 feet in some areas around the capitol. Brother-in-law works at the Pentagon had the week off also .

Doesn't it make you feel safe to know that none of the federal employees have been able to get to work for the last four days.

The greater DC area has had a real kick in the pants. The private employees stay home, many work via their pc's and don't get paid. The Federal Employees stay home and get paid full rate. Glad I'm retired, I don't get paid no matter what.

Over 40 inches here in this past week. First time I had to use my front end loader to move snow....and I've owned it for four years now. Here things become paralyzed with an inch or so. 30 inches Saturday with 50 mph wind and we are still not all dug out. Drifts to twenty feet high in places. Its gonna be a while. 3-6 inches forecast for Monday, a Federal holiday so feds will get paid for staying home again.

Enjoy this climate change. Come July you will wish you had some. Do hope I can get dug out in time to make the BARN PSL match in two weeks. bob finger
