I had the pleasure of meeting Stan at Mainville in 2003. Stan was a real gentleman...always smiling. Stan ended up winning the VFS Grand Agg that September weekend and was crowned the 2003 IBS National Champion.

Godspeed, Champ.

This sure is the last thing I expected to see when I opened BRC this morning..............very sad news. Stan was always pleasant and would speak a few words to anyone who showed up, no matter how busy he was. Our prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Stan

A great loss to the score shooting community. Sara and I send our condolences to Stan's wife, son Andy and his wife, Stephanie. God Bless You.

Very sorry to hear

this sad news. I enjoyed speaking with Stan at many shoots and will always remember his congenial personality. Most of the time his son was with him as I recall. Shooting was a family sport for them. I hope those good memories will help his family through this difficult time. --Greg

Stan's Passing

A great guy with a wonderful smile and sense of humor. Life goes by so fast and the loss of good people like Stan make us realize how little time we have. His years were productive and he had many real friends.
He will be missed by all.
