"It'll never work!"
You never know what you might stumble upon when you're 'glassing for predators in the vast expanse of South Dakota. Life on the prairie had to tough in those days.

You said it!

Man, it was trial and tribulation around these parts when a bunch of the home school hippy types found out the "Little House On The Prairie" was fiction :)

TOUGH, like brutal was the word.

I tasted it as a kid growing up,

I don't miss it A'tall

The past is a nice place to think about but I would not want to return there. I grew up on a small farm in Nebraska and planted corn and cultivated with horses. Nowdays they farm with equipment you couldn"t turn around on the farm I grew up on. Back then you lived your life, now you just pass through it. Wayne

Brad, that's why I'll NEVER be able to move beyond my Remington 37, 40X and a 52C!!

Greg,
Not a bad bunch of shooting irons to stick with! The 37 is my favorite out of the bunch but they are all fun to shoot.

Brad, I agree re the Rem 37. There is just something about the design that is hard to resist. I found a 100% unaltered, all original 37 a few months ago after a four year search. Came with original rem rear sight and Redfield 63 front, both mag and single shot platform, front hand stop. It is in super condition with little evidence of barrel wear. I shoot it some, look at it a lot. It is just way beautiful. Say hello to the better half. Stay warm and try to join us for a shoot or two this Summer. Take care. Greg
