Scenes from around Pensacola

All these were taken in the last week. I'll include a gratuitous gun shot to make it "firearm" related. ;-)

The 1st shot is Trisdan de Luna, leader of the expedition in 1559 to colonize what is now Pensacola, making it the first European colony ever in America. Betcha you didn't know that. The strange looking ship was one of those temporarily abandoning the BP leak site because of the Tropical Storm. They are using the opportunity to reprovision.

While skill with a camera is definately a factor, Tom also has a gift. An artist sees what we see but he also sees beauty that we often miss.
