S.E. Ohio 600 Yd. Group/Score Shoot Results for November 5, 2011

On Saturday, November 5, 2011, we held our last 600 yard shoot for calendar year 2011. There were 21 different individuals participating in one or more of the three matches. With one or more individuals shooting two guns during each of the three matches we had 21 targets shot for Match 1, 20 targets shot for Match 2, and 22 targets shot for Match 3. Conditions for the day did not appear to be too bad, however, on average, the groups were larger and the scores were lower than most of our other shoots this year.

We've had a great year averaging 25+ individual shooters at each of our 6 shoots. Thanks to all who participated and especially to all those who helped run the matches. We will be doing some additional work on our bench and target areas between now and next April and hope to have an additional 2 to 4 benches and targets in place by then.

If anyone's name is mispelled, caliber of rifle shot incorrect, or any other discrepancy noted in the results info, please let me know and I will correct it.

Results Summary:

• 3 groups measuring under 2 inches
• Smallest group shot was 1.801” which was shot by Bill Kosto in Match 3
• Only 1 perfect score of 50 which was shot by Reece Cremeans in Match 3
• 15 opportunities to win (5 for each Match)
• 12 different individuals winning one or more times

Bill: thanks for all the work you and the others put into the matches at S.E. Ohio. Without you, Don, Francis and Roger and others it would not be as fun match as it is. You have put a lot of work into it and the number of competitors keeps going up every month. This reflects you guys dedication to making it a great day of shooting every month. I sure look forward to it every month and cannot wait until next year. I kinda want to give Don a run for it. Some day i will learn what it takes to get my act together for this long range game.
