Mother Nature finally cooperated and we were able to hold our first 600 yard shoot of calendar 2011. We started out with a little rain early on, but it eventually changed to sunny and hot. We had a good turnout with 21 different shooters participating. We shot three matches with eight different shooters winning one or more times. We will be completing the work on the two additional benches and extending the roof over the bench and seating area this week. So the matches for our next shoot, which will be on July 2, should go a little quicker since we may shoot fewer relays for each match.
