I apologize for the lateness of this announcement, but given our weather this time of year the past couple of years, we wanted to get closer to our shoot date to check the weather forecast before making a decision on whether conditions would allow us to shoot. As of this morning, the weather forecast for our range area looks pretty good, a few showers for later in the week, but nothing which should create problems for us.
So, we will be holding our first 600 yard group/score benchrest shoot of 2012 this coming Saturday, March 17, 2012. Details are listed below.
In the event there is a drastic change in the weather from what is forecast now such that we get a lot of rain and have to cancel, I will post an update to this forum on Friday late-afternoon/early-evenging. Please feel free to call one of the names listed below with any questions.
Range Location: 9736 St. Route 141, Gallipolis, OH 45631 (10 Miles West of Gallipolis, Ohio on State Route 141). The GPS coordinates (as obtained from Google Earth) are:
38 Deg, 48’19.22 N
82 deg 22’ 27.34 W

- Entry Fee $13 per Match
- Practice Time: 8:00a.m.
- Start Time: 10:00a.m.
- 1 target per match (600 yard IBS) 5 shots, win by group or score, but if win
in both you only win group. Will also be doing closest to center.
- 7 minute time limit. Unlimited sighters.
- Generally follow IBS Light Gun weight limit of 17 pounds and under, Muzzle breaks are allowed
- No alcoholic beverages allowed
- No bolts or ammo in guns allowed until command is given
- Bring your own food and drink (pop, water, etc.)
