On Sunday, August 10th our club here at Sault Ste. Marie will be sponsoring the 2nd Annual Mavis Haller Memorial Match. We will use Rimfire Central Rules and the USBR target. The match is not sanctioned by USBR.
Thanks to some generous sponsors, there will be $2000.00 worth of shooting related prizes given out at the match. Winners receive bragging rights, but no plaques or trophies. Everyone who attends this match is a winner. The loosers are the ones who cannot ever be talked into shooting in a match.
With a little luck: A CZ Rifle, a case of SK ammo, a Wind Probe, some Carbon River wind flags, an $85.00 set of gunsmiths screwdrives, or a bunch of other shooting "stuff" could compensate you for the cost of your gas.
Chuck Millhouse, Susan Hughes and Marylin Kester are planning the noon meal and have asked me to get a count of the number of shooters I expect to be there. If you would like to attend this match, would you please post a reply at the bottom of this thread.
