Rem 40x value???

Is a 40x with a Shilen select barrel worth trading my Rem xr100 with a hart barrel and $400 for???
 
Not in a million years is my thinking but, then, I know that a 40x is nothing but a 700 with a solid bottom.

Once you screwed that aftermarket barrel onto your 40x, it lost it's "mystique" that seems to surround those things.
Sort of like a having a 1970 LS-6 Chevelle, without the originol Engine........jackie
