Recommended Barrel Length for 6.5 x 47

What is the recommended barrel length for 6.5-47 Lapua for 600 and 1000 yard matches? I have just ordered a Shilen select match barrel for my Savage Benchrest Rifle. This rifle was originally chambered in 308. I plan on shooting the 139 grain Laupa or 140 grain Berger bullets.

Also, is there a recommended neck diameter?

Neck diameter depend on whether or not you mind turning necks. I turn my neck but I only wanted to lightly skim them so I went for a .269. That number might be different for blue box brass as I think I read somewhere that they are thinner than the cardboard box stuff I was shooting. As for barrel I think 26-28 is standard, mine was a 25" and it brought home plenty of wood from the 600yd line. But it was slow compared to what others were reporting. I was getting 2860fps with a really heavy load H4350 and Berger 130's.
