ATK is without a doubt the worst corporation I have ever had any contact with. Thier CEO resigned, they are under multiple investigations and nobody even knows ( including ATF) who the current responsable parties are ( as mandated by Federal Law). If I had to guess I would say there will be a huge "shackup" atleast some of my friends beleive they will not make it.

seems to differ from your information, you mention wolf primers as stepping up production to take care of demand while the american company has a personal vendeta against you, it has been stated that wolf primers were premade from years ago and the current shortages just gave them the oprotunity to sell out inventory I don't believe it had anything to do with "taking care of the consumer" but hey go ahead and wage your war and keep thrashing an american industry that works 24hrs a day 7 days a week trying to meet demand, thats your right as a American.

ATK (Alliant Techsystems) (NYSE: ATK), the world’s largest ammo producer, manufactures CCI, Federal, and Speer ammo, plus CCI and Federal primers. ATK is also the parent company of Alliant Powder and ATK runs the Lake City Army ammunition plant. That’s why changes at ATK can affect shooters nationwide.
ATK announced that after more than six years as ATK chairman and CEO, Daniel J. Murphy will retire in March, 2010. The company’s board of directors has appointed General Ronald R. Fogleman to serve as Chairman of the board of directors. The board also elected John L. Shroyer, ATK’s current chief financial officer (CFO), to serve as interim CEO. The appointments are effective immediately.
In related news, ATK announced that second-quarter profit rose 18 percent, helped by stronger sales of ammunition for security forces in Afghanistan. The company said that demand remained strong for ATK’s commercial ammunition brands and products. “I am particularly pleased with the growth of our commercial businesses both in ammunition, aircraft structures and elsewhere across the company,” said John Shroyer, interim CEO, senior vice president and CFO.

Daniel J. Murphy, Dan, Jr. has been an Executive Chairman of the Board of Alliant Techsystems Inc. (ATK) since April 1, 2005, its Chief Executive Officer since October 2003 and also serves as its President. Mr. Murphy serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ATK Space Systems Inc. He served as Group Vice President of Precision Systems of ATK from April 2002 to October 1, 2003. He served as President of ATK Tactical Systems Company from April 2001 to April 2002. ... Prior to joining ATK in December 2000, Mr. Murphy served in the grade of Vice Admiral as Commander, U.S. Sixth Fleet and Commander, NATO Striking and Support Forces Southern Europe. He has extensive policy leadership and operational experience, having served in key Pentagon and operational command positions throughout the course of a 30-year Navy career. He has been Director of Precision Castparts Corp. since May 23, 2007. He has been Executive Director of Alliant Techsystems Inc. He has been Director of Lyondell Chemical Company since February 9,2006. His commands included the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Battle Group and the Sixth Fleet in Europe and Northern Africa.
