Posting match results

How in this day and age can we not have match results posted w in 72 hrs of a match? The last posted results for a IBS group match is July 2nd and 3rd? And the last update to the PS rifleman points are 2009? I realize this is a volunteer thing but in todays computer world, these should be very easy task. Or am I just being a pain in the rear end??? I am sure I will get support and some friction w this post. I am simply just asking a question. Thats all....
 
Dick Grosbier does an outstanding job posting IBS results. Some clubs find it important to get them to him and others do not. When I saw him in Maine two weeks ao he was bemoaning the fact it had been a week and he still did not have the results from the group nationals. He posts what he gets and he CHASES clubs to get results. Your comments should be directed at the match directors of the clubs that held the matches that have not posted results.

The Precision Rifleman Points were handled by Paul Ryan for many years and it is an enormous task to keep them up to date and he did an outstanding job of it. He quit doing that task two years ago and there is a transition taking place for persons responsible for that task. I am sure results will be posted when that is sorted out.

Good info Jim. I guess I am just to much of a get it done kind of guy I suppose. When I see all kind of results from the NBRSA matches in WY and UT posted w in 12 hrs of the match and the IBS score nationals asap and the group nationals are still not. It just raised a question from w in. Thats all. our info from above is good to know. As a sales professional for the past 23 years, I know that my competition is the employees of my competitors rather then my competitors there selves.

Actually points were updated yesterday before you made this post. Please see the IBS webpage. As to results from the Group Nationals, I have made several phone calls and sent quite a few emails so far trying to get them but I cannot post what I do not have. And regarding group match results in general they are almost always posted within a few hours of my receiving them but once again I have to have them.
 
so now I the real deal. Thanks for all your great work Dick. I am sure that its even more frustrating for you then it is us shooters. Thanks for all you do,
 
The thanks in this case go to Herb Llewellyn who I talked into (I should say conned into) taking on the job of points keeper a few months ago and he has been working diligently at the task for many an hour. He has had a real struggle getting the necessary data from various sources but now he has done 2010 and I believe he has 2011 pretty well up to date so there won't be a big delay next year.
