No Colt = no chance.

And his Daddy showing upin the trainers room. What was that all about?? I though Colt McCoy was a 24 year old Man........jackie

I agree, Glenn. There's no telling how many thousands of passes Colt and his dad have thrown through the years since his dad was his high school coach also. There's probably no better judge of his ability to return to a game despite an injury.

At that level, I wasn't aware Parents got involved in minor minor scrapes and bruises, especially to the point that it would influence the outcome of a National Championship Game.

Did you happen to notice Mark Ingrham grimincing over on the 'bama side line. When the Tide needed him to punch it in for that touchdown late in the 4th, he stepped up and did the deed.. They panned over on the sideline after, and he looked like he was about to cry from the pain of the cramps.

I doubt Nick Saban sent someone up in the stands to ask his Mom's opinion...........jackie

Jackie Buddy,
I am not a fan of UT. Texas Tech or OU blow up my dress. I think the young man realized that he couldn't help his team. He is smart enough to know what some of the criticism would be and knew that with no feeling he couldn't help his team. Ingram had a pain, but his leg still worked. You can't compare the 2 situations. Being the winning est quarterback in college history was not accomplished by pussy footing the rest of the game.
Alabama won fair and square, but don't put it on Colt's shoulders.

Boise State can only wish they could play with Alabama. They are going to have to play some real contenders in the regular season to get to the big dance. Bama beat two teams this year that have won three out of the last five National Championships. Ain't nobody got better proof that they deserve to be the Champ than Bama, period.
