Have not shot in about 2 years because of health problems. That being said, I am trying to update some of my components. Right now I would like to ask what any ones opinion of the newer lots of VV133 vs lots from back in '92? any suggestions greatly appreciated. waynej

The old guy used to tell me, to just shoot it!
That was Lowell.
Just shoot it. Ya'll git too hung up on sirprifilious BS.
.2 gn of any thang is not a big deal...The wind will git ya first.............

At Lowell's funeral we found out that, Lowell shot culled bullets. I call them rejects.....just shoot and enjoy the time on range and this planet....

Oh, I shot my rejects this past summer. Yep! They shoot fine..........

I bought some 133 in 2016 that took a 12"drop tube to get 30.5 grs in the 6PPC case to get 3300 fps,,in the same bbl with 133 from 2010 it only took 29.6 grs to get the same speeds,,accuracy was comparable after I got it running the same speed,

I use a 12 inch drop tube with the small diameter hole to get my usual load of 30.2 grns in the case a little over 1/8 into the neck. That consistently yields around 3420 out of a 21 inch long barrel with good agging capability.

I have never seen 133 that slow to where over 30 grns would only be 3300 fps.

I bought that 133 in 2016 ,,it was 4 one pound cans from a gunstore,,,I shot it up in a 6BR with 55 gr Balistic Tips and it worked well for that,,

I wound up shooting the last couple matches in 2016 with Norma 201 powder and it shot pretty dang good,,but I learned then if you was gonna shoot all summer you need to get enough powder primers and bullets in the winter to last you as some of this crap gets hard to find about August or September,,
