It's time for the new March scoope now : 36-55 x 52 BR EP-zoom.
It has arrived to Kelbly this week.
I'll get mine to Sweden maybee next week.
Anyone out there who had the possibility to shoot with it already?
Or going to do that soon?

I'm curious of course.
I don't get my new Lv-gun before the autumn...so I
looking forward having a report..from a happy owner...

/Jan

Hopefully great reports cause it cost $2500.:D

I don't understand

why anyone would want that much magnification. I have a 45 Leup and it is too much for me!

I agree. I drank the "more power is better" cool aid when I bought my 50x Marches, (I have four), and since have looked through quite a few 40x Marches. Even several at Midland last week end.

I love the March for it's rock solid reliability in holding POA, but I wish I had gone with the 40x.......jackie

Hey Jackie,
I have a Leupold comp 40x that has been neuterd and is in a Brackney mount. Trade you even, if you will kick in 5# of that old musty 8208. :D

Okey.
I got one March 10-60 x 52BR home now and had use it for 300 Yards competition in 8 mounths. (Unlimited competition of course)
This is the best scoope I ever had use.
When it's good condition i always use the "50".
This new March scoope should have the advantage to change from 55 to 36 without any POI-shift.

Maybee ;), I'm curious if it works

Hopfully Swede /Jan

Ps.Jackie: I sold my March 50 x 52BR to have 36-55 instead and get the possibility to change when it's bad condition.
The scoop are a little bit heavier, but not too much.
(630 gram instead of 599)

The American Way, eh?

marketing? If some is good, more is better?

I think 40X is about as much magnification as I would like. I find at 100 that the 45 is harsh to look through. Of course, after looking through 6X scopes all these years about anything is harsh  :D

I guess that you have a lot of competition at 200 Yards too.

Isn't it a advantage to have the possibility to change from 36-55 then?
Under good condition of course.

Mirage is always a problem...
