A friend and co-worker lives in Huston and is looking for a good smith to re barrel a Winchester model 70 in 220 Swift. Does anybody have any recommendations?

About a 2.5hr. drive. That seems pretty close to me, especially considering the quality of his work. Pete Peiper in Hempstead is very good and close, but I don't think he likes Mod 70's.

Thanks guys I will pass this info along to him. He is in sales and travels so 2.5 hour drive may be on his normal drive.
