Weather was pretty decent on Saturday, Sunny all day high of 81, mirage was heavy at times, Sunday was a whole different story, overcast and a little sun in the morning, and a torrential downpour for 300 yd Hunter lasted close to an hour then cleared for matches 4&5! Total 32 shooters.
I would also like to pass along a huge Thanks to shooters that helped finish work around the range, Don Carter, and Sandy Simon, Greg &A.J. Sweezy, Chad Scmidt, Rick DeGroat for helping run the line, and Rick Ekwortzel.
At the conclusion of the August Regional on August 20&21 there will be no more shoots at the LaGrande Range. Truly ashame but the club support has been dismal, no one wants to help out, and that was readily apparent when I arrived a week and a half early and the club had accomplished nothing. The stat shack had a rotten wooden floor and was torn out in early June, so that concrete could be poured, the contractor failed miserably, and the job didn't get done until 48 hrs before the match, and the President of the club and I had to spread it and finish it! Never Again! Thank you also to Mr. Schmidt and Mr. Byers for 2 tubs of 10x bullets awarded to high X count in the Hunter. & VFS agg.

Thanks for posting scores Gary. Sorry to hear about no more shoots, beautiful range and great people but you guys did a great job. Good to see everyone that showed. Hope everyone made it home safe and all is well. See you all somewhere take care. Gary
