We held the Minnesota State LV/HV match this weekend. It was a Moser weekend, if it wasn't Scott it was his 15 year old son Josh beating up on us. Sat. Scott beat us LV 100yds. with a fine .1950 agg. in the morning and after lunch we shot HV 100 yds. he started were he left off with a .090 in match 1. We new it was going to be a long day for the rest of us. Scott won with a 2044 agg. but not with out a fight from Josh who was 2nd. with a .2062 agg.
We shot HV 200 on Sunday morning with Josh Moser again winning with a fine .2289 agg. I was 2nd with a .3037 agg. Now that is a whooping. We shot LV 200 in the afternoon with Bill Storbeck winning with a .2639 agg. This was the only yardage not won by a Moser. Scott won the 2gun with a .2549 and Josh hot on his heals with a .2556. That was a real battle between dad and son.
Next month we will be honoring a past BR icon in Minnesota, Don Judd. Don got a lot of us started in benchrest, he started shooting in the early 70s so he had lots of story's to tell. We will also be shooting the Battle of the States, that is were each state has a 4 man team with the best agg winning. Everyone has lots of fun with this match. So get you team together and plan on coming on July 14 and 15.
