We shot the last match of the season this weekend and had very nice weather to wrap up the season. I had promise everyone nice weather for the match and when a rain shower came in on friday I was getting a lot of ribbing but I reminded them that I said for the match, that didn't help me much. We had shooters from Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconson.
Our good friend Don Judd stop by with his son to say hi, this is the first season that he hasn't shot BR since the sixty's. Don is in poor health after 4 heart attack last winter. Don got most of us started in BR. He always had a spare rifle for a new shooter to use. At Minnetonka he was and will remain MISTER BENCHREST. Please keep Don in your prayers.
A big thank you to Dave Halblom who made a trip up to drop off backer paper and didn't even stay for the match. We need more people like Dave in our sport.
Congratulations to Mark Buettgen as he set 2 range records .
