Minnetonka Benchrest Dinner

We are having our annually benchrest shooters dinner on Feb.21 at 6:00 pm at Mc Pete's Sports Bar and Lanes in Big Lake Mn. This is always a fun time as none of us have had a chance to do any shooting and all of us have a bad case of cabin fever. We still have 30" of ice on the lakes so it would hard to get a wind flag into the ground. This is dinner is a chance for the new shooter's to get to know the guy's from the club. Everyone is invited to come for an evening of fun and BS, there is more BS then anything else. I hope to see all the old gang and some new people as well.

Jerry, I need to return some of your 67.7 gr match bullets, Theres nothing wrong with them. I need to try somthing else. It took me all winter to dig them out of the burm. at least they were close together

I checked the menu there and the Sat nite special is lutefisk and baked beans. I see the place is a bowling alley also and is located in Big Lake, Mn. I don't know whether a guy should bring his bowling ball or an ice auger??

Tom I will be glad to take the bullets back that you dug out of the burm. I don't know how you dug through 30" of frost. I want to keep you happy. See you on Sat.

And for you Dave, you know the reason that I hang out with you is because I like your wife Mary, come to think of it I think most do. If you come up I will buy Mary and you dinner.

Everyone says they like Mary, kind a makes me wonder?? Some even say they like the dogs, but for some reason, they don't say much about me:confused:

One thing i hate about coming to your State is that every time i exchange money at the Iowa/Minnesota border, they screw me on the exchange rate.

Thanks for the invite, but i have to stay around home this weekend(community service)
