Just received an email from Dorothy informing me of Mickey's passing away. He had cancer.

Oh man...
Sorry to hear this...Mickey was a friend to all and will be greatly missed. Although you knew this day was approaching it still takes your breath away.

Mickey will be missed.....
I hadn't even seen Mickey in several years, but this news hit me hard in the gut. Some people are just too nice to think of the world without them, and Mickey was certainly in that category.
We used timed range command recordings on a CD that Mickey gave me to help run our BR matches at Fairfield Sportsmen's Association for many years. I can hear him right now.... "Sis Fire, Sis Fire!"
Mickey was always ready for some coffee and pleasant conversation. I was thinking about him just a couple days ago when I used some 0000 steel wool. Those who knew him probably know what I'm talking about! What a true southern gentleman he was.....
