March 48 x

Hi , I would appreciate if someone could let me know the weight of this scope with turret caps off, I have already looked at there web site and the 48x seems to be heavier than the earlier fixed models such as the 40x.

Although I'd like to help I'm not much inclined to take my HM 48 off the rifle to do so. The spec sheet says 631 grams. You can probably translate that and possible weigh a couple of turret caps from something else. You should be close enough for rock & roll.

I have one on my 30BR VFS Score Rifle. It's in my office, I was going to take it off to check things in the off season, so give me about an hour.

Remy. The March 40X weights in at 20.9oz with the caps on. The 48X weight is 22.3 with the caps on.
