Magnumlite barrel accuracy

I was looking at the magnumlite guns with graphite barrels made by magnum research. I am specifically looking to buy a 22 mag right now, and was wondering if anyone had any experience with these gun's accuracy 22mag or others. They sound like nice guns, just need to hear more about them before I can spend the $700.

I've only ever owned 1 22 mag it was a Remington and a pig. I think I tried every round on the market with no success. 2 inch groups at 50 yards.
 
They shoot somewhat better than a stock barrel and not as well as a quality aftermarket barrel. They are harder to shoot offhand because of the light weight.

What kind of after market barrels do you suggest, and in what price range? I am also leaning more toward the 22lr at this point because of ammo costs and I want to put a lot of rounds through this gun.
 
the magnumlite barrels typically will outshoot all but the very best customs, but as mentioned the lightweight makes them harder to shoot well. as with any rimfire, if you expect accuracy the elcheapo ammo wont cut it.
