Getting sick of N133 lots varying 100 fps (or more). How is the LT32? I might consider switching over if it's better.

In reference to 133, are you seeing this variation by weight or by volume? In the past I have read that different lots were pretty close when charges of the same weight were compared.

I had dinner with Doc Marsh a couple of years ago and we talked a lot about VV-133, he used it exclusively at the time and I told him I hated because it was so finicky to tune. He asked was I use ping a powder measure and I said yes, his comment was thats the problem VV-133 varies so much from lot to lot the only way to be successful with it is to weigh every single load on a scale. So I started weighing and sure enough it was much easier to stay in tune. But I use LT-32 now and I still use a chargemaster so each charge is weighed. Now if only I would learn to read the wind!

By weight, but of course they vary by volume too.
I chronograph every can of powder I open, and N133 swings as wildly from lot to lot as some of the Alliant powders which are known for that issue. On the other hand, I use H322 in the cooler months, and I rarely see it vary more than 30 fps from lot to lot. I've had several lots that were within 10! Seems to me, if VV wants to claim consistency, and charge a premium for it, they've got some work to do.
I've never shot any of the newer T powders, but if they are more like Hodgdon and less like VV, I would certainly be willing to try some.
