Los Angeles area benchrest?

I have a friend whose son is getting started in rifle shooting. He lives in the L.A. area so I suggested he join a range where they shoot some BR, whether it be centerfire or rimfire.
Hopefully there he can get some insight on what the sport is all about.
So my question is, are there any ranges in the L.A. area that he can go to and see first hand, and possibly talk to a few guys?

There are some people practicing on Wed. at the Angeles range. (Tujunga Canyon). Otherwise it's Visalia or Sacramento for registered matches. Don
