Something here smells. There's more to this story than they're letting on.
Why would you as a board member, call a major shareholder and tell them, oh, by the way, we're gonna do an offering that's gonna kill the stock value and you're gonna take it in the shorts. Then, offer info to the SEC about his premature sale of the stock.
Sounds like they were trying to screw Mark Cuban, he sold, and now they don't want to take a loss so they pass the buck to him anyhow.
There should be a law against such offerings that will tank the value of the stock too. Ain't it something that it's ok to make this offer and knowingly reduce the stock value, but it's not ok to sell and avoid it. Guys like us just take it in the shorts when these offerings take place, and there's no good market reasoning for the loss. That's fair tho.
