Factory Guns
1. Elton Rountree 245 - 7X
2. Kurt Krug 241 - 8X
3. Jim Guinn 239 - 5X
The Brian Albee Memorial Awards for the highest score of the year in each class were won by the following shooters...
VFS.................. Rob Fairbanks 250 - 24X (Rob shot 24 X's twice this year.)
Custom Class.... Dudley Pierce 250 - 19X
Factory Rifle...... Larry Feusse 250 - 16X (Larry shot this with his old Rem. 788 that he has had from Day One.
The Albee awards were sponsored by Jeff Aberegg for the second year. Each winner won $50.00. Surprisingly, none of them volunteered to buy lunch at the Budd Lake Bar after the match.
Health permitting I plan to shoot (only) next year in Factory Class with my small and newly re-modeled Ruger No. 1 in .222 Rem. The gun weighs 8-1/4 lbs. complete with an 8X Unertl.
Francis will be responsible for running the matches helped by son Paul and grandson Eric.
Our first match at Harrison was either April or May in 1991. It's been a long and a fun ride.
