Lapua 222 brass
I just finished measuring the necks of some new Lapua brass I intend using in the 222 after its rebuild. With the ball of the mic positioned in the middle of the neck it measures 13 thou on average for the five cases I measured. Plenty enough to turn.

Given the quality of the .220 Russian Lapua brass, I was wondering if .222 Rem lapua is as good. Does anyone know what the neck thickness is on the .222 stuff?

Thanks guys. That is what I was looking for. I have a .222 with .250 neck and wanted to try some really good brass and then turn the necks if some were available. I thought I'd ask before accumulating more materials. My loading room is about full now. I may just have to get some of them and try them out.
