Laffayett VFS

Lafayette VFS Match Scores

The day was beautiful for shooting. Temperatures in the morning started in the mid 60's and in the afternoon ended in the mid 70's. The sky was partly cloudy so the mirage wasn't too bad. The challenge is always the wind. The wind was at our backs out of the south. It would switch from south southwest to south southeast sometimes rapidly. This caused a number of "Ohhh #@*&s" after someone took a shot and was surprised by the result. The wind speed started around 15 mph at the beginning of the 100 yd match and worked it's way up to around 25 mph during the 200 yd match. All in all, we had a good time shootin at the bench and visiting.

Attached are the results,

Can I get on the mailing list for matches at Lafayette? I live in New Orleans and would like to come over and shoot.

Thanks

Andrew,
I don't know of any mailing lists for matches. You can go out to the [WIKI]http://nbrsa.org/[/WIKI] site and brows their calender. Just click on the underscored date and it will list the clubs having a match that date. Having said all that, Lafayette's next match is June 9th. It's listed as Hunter class Louisiana State Championship. However, the match director said he will also host the VFS shooters too.

Hope to see you there,

Wayne
