Jim Dyke is the Winner of the 15th Annual Harry Hoppe Memorial Score Match! The match was held at the Holton Gun & Bow Club in beautiful Holton, MI on May 20, 2017. Jim had a good start at the 100 yard line with a 250-16X (which was good for 2nd place). Conditions were shaky to say the least throughout the entire match. When you saw all green you had better be squeezing the trigger or you were too late. Dudley Pierce had the 100 yard line mastered with a very fine 250-21X. The 200 yard match is where Jim remained vigilant. Firing a 244-5X (yea, the conditions were rough!) Jim overtook the lead and finished as the Winner of the Harry Hoppe Memorial Score Match with the winning score of 494-21X. Jim shot his trusty Jim Borden 30BR shooting secret 118 grain bullets.

Congratulations to Jim!

Many thank you's to Bill Nienow for serving as range officer and scorer! And to Jim Dyke and Dudley Pierce for setting up the target racks, moving them to the 200 yard line, and dismantling them and returning them to the target shack. Thank you to the 13th power!

Attached are the match results.

Just the messenger boy...
