Isabella County Sportsman's Club 300 Yard Score Match Results

The Isabella County Sportsman's Club (Mt. Pleasant, MI) was host to a 300 yard score match on May 24. Eleven benchresters arrived to shoot at the elusive 1/4" dot of which many dots fell victim. Steve Robbins was the match director and what a fine time he and the entire match workforce put on. Many thanks to all of the Isabella County Sportsman's Club members that helped put the match on! The next match is June 28th and will be a 300 yard group shoot.

The day was as perfect as a benchrester could ask for - temperature was 75F and the winds were typically from the northeast, northwest, southeast, southwest,.....did I forget any other directions? Oh, and sometimes it was dead calm! As the Chinese say....a picture is worth a thousand words. So, without further ado....

Excellent job of reporting the match results. You, also, nearly won yesterday.

For those who don't know, the young lady shooting against the olde pharttes is a four time All-American smallbore and air rifle competitor.

Steve was really lucky yesterday with great weather for his first match. 300 yds. is fun... Breedlove told me he was holding off a scary amount to hit the elusive ten ring in fairly gentle conditions.

There will be a 300 yd. group match at the Isabella County Sportsman Club in late June. Date will be announced as quickly as I can verify it.

For those who haven't shot in one of Steve's matches, come next time and give it a try.
