Inletting Bits

I was wondering what type of bit and where is the best place to get them for inletting on a mill? Thanks

I agree with Bill. I use the core box bits. I had a couple reduced a bit in size by my tool and cutter grinder shop.

Yeah they don't make a 1.375, which would be nice. I just use a 1.250, take it to depth, then do the sides to proper width. (action area here) It's a little out of round, but not by much, bedding takes care of that.

Yes they do make a 1.375" core box bit! Magnate 814 about $35 delivered from Amazon.
Just used one to do my Savage. It is listed by radius.....11/16"..
