IBS 100-200yd Score match March 23 in GA.

Ga. Mountain Shooters Assn. in Eastanolle Ga. will be hosting their first IBS Score match on Sat. March 23.
Eastanolle is located 9 miles north of I85 just over the Ga. SC. state line.
Shooting starts at 9:00am and lunch will be served. Plenty of covered loading area but you will need to bring a table.
Hope to get a good turnout for our first match as the weather is starting to break and should be in the 60s-70s so should be perfect weather.
We will also be hosting the Ga. state Shoot in Nov.so come out and see the range.

There was an active thread a while back about increasing participation in benchrest shooting. I suspect scheduling matches on the same dates in the same state is not conducive to increasing participation.

Well this shoot was announced on the IBS schedule December 5th, GMSA probably assumed the Shamrock would be the weekend of St Patrick's day March 17th. The earliest I can find the Shamrock publicized is Jan 15th (http://benchrest.com/showthread.php?85378-2013-Southeast-Region-Schedule&highlight=shamrock) Its 2 different disciplines in two different BR organizations, kind of unfortunate but it happens.

Yes, unfortunate; I guess it would be presumptuous to assume different organizations would want to co-ordinate with each other. BTW, see posts ## 2 and 4 at http://benchrest.com/showthread.php?84975-Shamrock-2013&highlight=shamrock
 
To bad it is on the same weekend as the Shamrock, I do shoot group and score and would have liked to attend the score shoot on the 23rd. Looks like the shamrock was announced on BR Central via my post back in very early Dec.
