Howa HACT Trigger?

Has anyone tried a Howa rifle with their new HACT trigger? I've bought several of their barreled actions (mainly when there were no M700 actions available from Brownells) as the basis for custom builds, and have found them to be pretty good. However, I've never taken one of their old triggers completely apart in order to try to improve the minimum pull weight, and am not sure I really want to attempt that job. If the HACT is a major improvement, that's just one more point in Howa's favor.

My personal impression of the Howa 1500 actions is that they're kind of a hybrid, combining the best features of several other actions - flat bottom with integral recoil lug & M16-style extractor are two that come to mind. Have only put two of them in my action truing fixture, but if they're representative of the average Howa, I'd say there's very little need to true them. In short, I think the advantages outweigh the slight hassle of having to turn metric threads to fit a bbl. blank.
