I wasn't going to tell this story but I think I will. I don't know how many of you have been exposed to Bill Greene aka Trout, but he's kind of a laid-back / semi-hyper type guy. Any way a few weeks ago at the River Bend Gun Club I made him just about sh## himself while waiting for the match to start.
It's the first match of the day. Everyone was waiting for the target crew to return to get the match started. Trout was setting in front of the range officer and was about half asleep. I eased up behind him and in one of my better Command voices said, "TROUT GET YOUR BOLT OUT OF YOUR RIFLE!" Trout jumped two feet off his stool. While still in the air, one hand flew for the bolt release, and the other for the bolt! I saw just a hint of panic as he struggled for a second or two trying to find and remove a bolt that wasn't there!
Shockingly after that Trout wanted to kick butt!
That's how you can make a Trout jump!
