How to find matches nearby

I am looking to get into some competitions. I have a 6mm ppc and would like to shoot some 100yd, 300 yd and maybe some 500yd matches. Can anyone tell me where i can find out what matches will be nearby and when they will be? I like in Fairhope, AL.
 
I am going to go and watch this match. I would like to try and shoot in it, but it is too early and I am just trying to learn how it all works first.
 
Never say I'm not ready! I shoot with a guy who has had a Benchrest rifle for 3 years and still is not ready to go to a match. Jump in with both feet when you get there ask for somebody to "show you the ropes" and have a ball. Good Luck
 
Just trying to be modest, I actually plan on taking home a few trophy's when i do shoot! =)
