The NBRSA and IBS Group Nationals are where HOF points are awarded.

There are 4 classes shot at each Nationals; Unlimited, LV, HV, and Sporter. One Point is awarded for each yardage win, two for each Grand Agg win, two for the winner of the Three Gun, (combined LV, HV, and Sporter). So that is a total of 18 available, times two.

So each year there are a total of 36 HOF points awarded.

Has anybody ever

shot their way into the HOF in one nationals? I know Rex Reneau got 8 points at the NBRSA nationals. Can't remember the year.

Allen Arnette got into the HOF faster than anyone. He did this in less than one calendar year. However, he got points in 3 or 4 Nationals during that year. I don't believe anyone has ever gotten 10 points in a single event, but Francis Broussard came close at Knoxville. Francis is not in the HOF but he has had 9 points for many years. Good shooting...James

David, I am going

to the best of the west in Raton. I can leave home in the morning and be there by noon!!

Someday I will have to go up there. Rex Reneau,TK Nolan and Scharnhorst have been telling me I need to get up there. I'm afraid they are going to hog tie me up and load me in the back.
