Hickory,NC, Egg/Groundhog Shoot

Just got word that Chris Brady (Terry Brady's son) won 1st place overall at the Hickory egg shoot with a 91. He also got 4th place with his second rifle. There were over 180 of the best competitors on the east coast from what I hear . This is the only competition this young man shoots. He has been in the top 5 or better several times. It am tickled to death he finally won it! Way to go Chris. Maybe someone else will chime in with some more results.

Thank you everyone for the congrats! There was alot of talent on the range today. The wind was a constant battle and the topic of every discussion. All you could do was shoot and pray. Thanks def goes out to Dad for all his help(every year), Berger Bullets, D&B Supply, and Bull's Eye for hosting this competition every year! See everyone at Piedmont sometime soon. :)

Grats Chris, nice to see you can beat your Dad now!! I see he won something though, as always. Grats to him and the rest of the winners and egg breakers, Huh HFV!

Great shooting and congrats Chris!
Thanks to Larry and crew for putting on another great match as well as Berger bullets, Bill Shehane and the other great prize providers.
I put a bag in the freezer for Terry next year :cool:

The Hickory egg shoot is a family affair. Shot on Larry Willis farm and is not sanctioned. You had to be there to get the results. Why not plan on it next year? First Saturday in April. Starts at 8AM.
 
I've noticed that sanctioned shoots are rarely posted either.

This site is just an alternate means of communicating match results. Both the NBRSA and IBS have publications the members subscribe to for match reports.

If you are really interested in benchrest match results, go to the Home page of this site and join both. We'd be glad to have you come shoot with us too.

After most Match Directors do all the work getting ready for a shoot, then running the shoot, they are too tired to type up their results on here. Most times if anything is posted about a match on the Internet it will be on the NBRSA or IBS web sites.
 
Did they shoot a factory class this year? If so, does anyone have info as to who won and what equipment they used?
