Here are the results from a Score Match held at the Harrison Sportsmans Club on 9/08/2012.
VFS Class;
1st. Joe Hynes 250-23X
2nd. Rob Fairbanks 250-21X
3rd. Brian Albee 250-20X
Factory Class;
1st. Bob Zimmer 244-7X
2nd Rob Fairbanks 244-7X (Creedmore)
3rd. Charles Deardoff 244-2X
Congratulations to Joe and Bob for winning their respective classes! The VFS class was a tie until match #5. This one would have gone to counting wipe-outs had Rob shot 5X in match 5. The weather was down right nasty for our last match of the season. It would change from cloudy and calm to sunny with a torrential down pour. Switchy winds were the rule of the day.
I'd like to thank my sidekick Bill Stiverson with all the help he gives me registering competitors, giving me a break by calling the line and dealing with the politics of the gun club. I'd also like to thank Dick Wright for the work he's done scoring targets. It's been a pleasure working with these folks along with the competitors whom have shot the matches at Harrison this year. Looking foreward to doing it again next year!
