From what I see Hodgdon makes all the gun powder they have bought up all the other companies . And shortages no way I don't believe it . I went to a gun show today and there was only one pound of powder and it was for a 50 caliber . With no powder in over a year , I can see there is a big demand for it BUT NOT A SHORTAGE EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME !!

When Trump went out things changed.

Call Hodgdon and ask for Ron Reiber, he can give you the scoop.

.People got unnecessarily

. scared.

My local shop has been pretty good about getting powders in. Over the last 4 months, they,ve had WW748, WW70, Accurate 2700, 2015, 2520 and LT30, H380, H4198 and H322 on hand.
Still need Benchmark but the 8208 'pull down' on hand is pretty close.

Here in Fly Over Country, we do a lot of powder/primer/bullet swaps and trades with each other.

Good shootin' -Al

There are something like 7 million new firearms owners since march and the components are currently being used to catch up to ammunition demands. Federal and Remington who just started back up after the buy out are running 24-7. The two videos below explain what is currently going on. When caught up primers will be back on the shelves in do time. This should also hold true for powder once the ammo manufacturing demands are met. This can be found and is talked about in other manufacturer's videos by those running all of the various companies also involved.

And you can also find Gun Powder at your Liquor store. Stumbled across this Irish gin called GUN POWDER and just had to try it. Has a unique flavor that goes well on the rocks or with Tonic water.
