Bank jugging has been going on for years and is currently an epidemic in Houston and probably other areas. For those that don't know bang jugging is when crooks will sit on a bank parking lot and wait for customers to come out who they suspect has made a large cash withdrawal. These bank customers are later targeted for a robbery or vehicle burglary to get the cash.
Crooks are now targeting shooting ranges and gun stores and using the same MO. I haven't seen any robberies yet but vehicles leaving these places are targeted for a later burglary in which the weapons are stolen.
Keep your head on swivel and if you're think you're being followed four right turns will usually help to ID a vehicle following you.
