Got my Spider on this morning

Finally got to installing my Grizzly Spider on my lathe this morning. Took the advice of installing it on the faceplate and it came out very nice. Was able to clock it in to zero using a Starrett test indicator so think it is likely true enough. Gonna set back a barrel soon so will see how it works. Sure is nice to get rid of all the 4 jaw stickout, which limited the length of barrel I could accommodate. Looking promising at this juncture.

The huntsman's a poor inoffensive fellow that doesn't make a web but keeps the place clean of flies & cockroaches, if you let him. He just gets a bad rep from those with arachnophobia.
