Just received the June/July issue of Machinist's Workshop in the mail today, and found a good reveiw of Grizzly's G4003G gunsmithing lathe by Steve Acker. Steve's book The Gunsmith Machinist is a good read, as are his monthly articles in this magazine. As a bonus, a complete copy of "Rollie's Dad's Method of Lathe Alignment" is printed at the end of this article.
If you've never picked up a copy of Machinist's Workshop, you're missing out on some interesting reading. Not every issue will be full of articles that I'll read clear through, but I sure don't regret subscribing to it.
