I found this wrench in the bilges of a ship in drydock. It looked a little rough, but I took it back to the shop to see if I could clean it up. Glad I did. The wrench felt hefty and heavier than a normal 8in Crescent. Good thing.The sailors were using a pipe (cheater) to open and close a valve or something. Check it out!

But, I might have to up ya one, on this wrench....going to find it...
Ok. I looked in 4 places. It must be buried in my old roll away. It was a Lobster. It also opened up an extra 1/8" maybe a 1/4"...
I will try to find it tomorrow. I used that wrench for 40 yrs...well ya know....not everyday. Best for making Split Bolt splices in shore power(2/0 weld lead 480VAC on piers) or transformers.

when I was looking at my wrench I thought might have been yours....but again you would never use pipe on a little 8in.

This is on display at the Gavins Point Dam close to where I live....it's for the turbine shaft. My size 11 is for reference. -Al

They have one of the beater hammers there too. They used a piece of aluminum/bronze channel over the flat part of the wrench that the hammer impacted. -Al
